Watershed-Wide Planning
As a convener of organizations throughout the region, the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed will strive to amplify the development of a vision for the watershed, empower an engaged constituency, and support planning initiatives with basin-wide significance. In working towards these goals, the coalition will support watershed-wide and transparent planning that comprehensively addresses the watershed’s biggest challenges. As such, the Coalition will advocate for the following watershed-wide planning priortities:

The Program reflects a shared vision for conserving and restoring a network of lands and waters to support wildlife, and is guided by a strategic framework developed with partners to focus on conservation in four key areas: reducing flooding and runoff, restoring fish and wildlife habitats, improving water quality, and enhancing safe recreational access for the public. Designated rivers managed through long-term partnerships between the National Park Service and community, local, regional, and state stakeholders
