ShadFest is an annual celebration of the Brandywine River andthe return of the American Shad presented by the BrandywineRiver Restoration Trust. Fun, vendors, environmental education,FREE activities, & more!

This annual family-friendly event, hosted by the BrandywineRiver Restoration Trust (BRRT), will feature educational exhibitsby over 20 of Delaware’s leading environmental organizations,music, sustainable arts & craft vendors, food & beveragevendors, and festivities. Activities will include a shad lifecycleobstacle course, fish print t-shirt painting, a fish seiningdemonstration, free fishing lessons for children, face painting,and much more!
