Managing Polluted Runoff In Southeastern PA, Online

feb 3 webinar.jpg

The PA Environmental Council, Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership and Conservation Voters of PA will host a February 3 Webinar on Managing Polluted Runoff In Southeastern PA from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

An increase in severe storms and heavier rainfall in southeastern Pennsylvania is causing major pollution in local waterways. With climate change getting worse and more severe storms predicted, there could be major problems with Southeastern PA’s drinking water unless towns come together to put green solutions in place.

Join the webinar to get a better handle on the impacts that severe weather events have on these regions and the steps local communities can take to adjust to this new normal.

The webinar is cosponsored by Montgomery County Planning Commission, Sustainable Business Network, Darby Creek Valley Association, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Pennsylvania Resources Council, Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust, Temple University, Villanova University, Wissahickon Trails
