The Trump Administration is proposing to sharply reduce protections for streams, wetlands and other waters as part of the ‘Dirty Water Rule’, a change to the Clean Water Rule. The proposal would roll back longstanding Clean Water Act safeguards by eliminating protection from pollution and destruction of rain-dependent streams, over half of our wetlands, as well as other waters, all of which provide clean drinking water and reduce downstream flooding for our communities.
