Please join the Pinelands Preservation Alliance in their clean-up of newly acquired land within the Wharton State Forest!

The Green Acres program, part of the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, has acquired 650 new acres of Pinelands in Burlington County which will be added to Wharton State Forest. The Pinelands sit on the Kirkwood-Cohansey aquifer which is part of the Delaware River Watershed.

The first step to getting the land ready for the public is to remove the illegal dumping on the property. The group of volunteers will go in and clean-up the site and then take an optional short hike through the area.

This meetup is located at the intersection of Patty Boker Rd and Chatsworth Rd.
