#OptOutside Hike: Plainfield Township Trail, Easton, PA

This holiday season #OptOutside with Sierra Club Pennsylvania Chapter on a family-friendly hike! Spend Black Friday on the trail and away from the crowds. Instead of shopping, get outside and enjoy what nature has to offer. Share a couple hours with like-minded individuals to talk about the environmental impacts of consumerism. Attendees will also learn about the history of the Slate Belt region and importance of protecting high quality streams like the Little Bushkill Creek.

The Plainfield Township Trail is a flat, paved recreational trail that connects Stockertown to Pen Argyl, PA. It features rolling hills, preserved farmland, forested landscapes, stream crossings, and follows alongside the meandering Little Bushkill Creek. Hike about 4-5 miles and take in all of the late fall scenery and wildlife. Register online here.
