Join the staff of John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum as they host Aurelia Skipwith, Deputy Assistant Secretary Fish, Wildlife and Parks for the U.S. Department of the Interior, for a celebration and announcement to further the Department's vision to increase access to our nation’s public lands. The event will recognize the importance of community partners and volunteers, and highlight the important role of urban national wildlife refuges to provide recreational opportunity for all Americans.

The event will take place during the first Urban National Wildlife Refuge Day. The public is invited to participate in outdoor skills, fishing, archery, and other outdoor recreation activities throughout the day.
