Healthy, clean WATER – it’s critical for all of us! And you can help us understand the creeks and streams where you live! Wildlands Conservancy and Stroud Water Research Center are offering a day of hands-on stream training to involve community members in the science of water quality.
When you complete the training, you’ll have all the know-how needed to “jump in” and join a volunteer force of citizen scientists! Data quality standards, testing tools, and reporting methods – you’ll learn it all – and you’ll be part of special group that gets tapped to monitor the waterways that flow into our Lehigh River and, ultimately, the Delaware River Basin. Register online prior to the event.
