The Pinelands Short Course is a daylong event held each spring featuring educational presentations that explore the unique history, ecology, and culture of the Pinelands of New Jersey. American Littoral Society staff will be offering a workshop on rain gardens and green infrastructure.
Other programs will chart the remarkable recovery of bald eagles in New Jersey, carnivorous Pinelands plants, mammal skull identification, primitive survival skills, the hidden world of glowing organisms, and the recent archaeological excavation of Cedar Bridge Tavern.
There is a $50 fee, with discounts for students and seniors, and registration information is available on the Pinelands Commission website.
