Witness the courageous crossing that saved the American Revolution!
Join the thousands of other history-loving attendees in witnessing one of two annual reenactments of General Washington’s historic 1776 Christmas Day crossing of the Delaware River during the American Revolutionary War. Hundreds of reenactors will participate in the events, starting with a speech by General Washington, followed by the rowing of Durham boats across the Delaware’s icy waters.
This year, the public has two choices of when to attend.
The first, on December 9th, will be a ticketed event, with all proceeds going towards future programs in Washington State Park.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 5-11, and free for those under 5.
