Join South Jersey Land & Water Trust for a Community Cleanup at Lake Worth in Berlin, where we will pick up trash along the roadsides of Rt. 30 and New Freedom Rd. After the cleanup, we will take a nature walk around the lake and see the macroinvertebrate species living in or near the water, such as dragonflies, damselflies, mayflies, etc. We will meet in the parking lot off of Route 30, across from Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Look for Michael's silver pickup truck. Bags, grabbers & gloves will be provided, please wear appropriate shoes, bug spray & sunscreen, and bring your own drinking water. This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours, complete a service project, or to simply do a good deed for your community while spending time outdoors. This event is FREE, please RSVP by emailing mhogan@sjlandwater.org
