Join the Wildlands Conservancy on National Trails Day to celebrate the Lehigh River Water Trail, the Delaware and Lehigh National Corridor and the opening of the new boat launch at the access point near Treichler’s bridge. Wildlands Conservancy serves as the Lehigh River’s designated water trail manager, overseeing the 72-mile long stretch of river which starts in White Haven and ends at the confluence of the Lehigh and the Delaware rivers in Easton. This is a bicycling tour of the water trail. We will begin at the Cove Road access point below Treichler’s Bridge and end in Slatington. Please bring your own bicycle and be prepared for a 5 mile ride. No bike? No problem, feel free to come anyway and take a walk!
