The 57 acres of Crossways Preserve offers meadows with native grasses and wildflowers, stands of towering hardwood trees, and wetlands with cattails. Join us for a guided walk through this beautiful landscape, and learn about ecological succession and meadow ecology while looking for birds and butterflies. We’ll stop by WVWA’s newest deer exclosure, where we’re working to protect and restore wetland butterflies and other native species.
